The mission of the Innovation
and Development Promotion Centre (IDPC) is to support the social and environmental development,
and promotion of innovations
as an element stimulating the growth of the economy of the northeast Poland and the border areas.

Innovation and Development Promotion Centre conducts the activity aimed at improving the competitiveness of the region.

The goals of the organization are as follows:

to support economic development;
to contribute to cooperation of scientific institutions and industrial enterprises for even development;
to contribute to exchange of knowledge and technology;
to promote the tools of support to Poland and the European Union in the sphere of regional development;
to promote innovative solutions in business dealing;
to stimulate export;
to support national minorities;
to promote natural heritage;
to develop and promote tourism;
to protect the environment through promotion of ecological values;
to develop the local community;
to make the opportunities of urban and rural areas even;
to contribute to socio-economic development, including employment and professional activity of people who are unemployed or under threat of dismissal;
to contribute to construction of informational society;
to maintain NGOs in the form of technical, information and financial support of training;
to protect the rights of women, minorities and people with disabilities, as well as to enhance their capabilities;
to protect the human rights, freedoms and civil liberties, to contribute to development of democracy;
to support activities aimed at development of local democracy and regional identity;
to conduct activities aimed at European integration and development of contacts and cooperation between communities;
to contribute to development of physical culture and sports;
to support culture, arts; to protect cultural monuments and traditions;
to advertise the Podlasie in other regions (in Poland and abroad);
to collaborate with other organizations having a similar profile in Poland and abroad; to establish contacts with foreign economic organizations within interregional cooperation;
to organize and promote volunteerism;
to conduct activities aimed at development of cross-border and international cooperation.
